Event Safety Management Plan

When planning an event it is imperative to ensure the safety of all those involved; not only the safety of guests must be taken into consideration but also that of all employees, contractors and members of the general public. 

An Event Safety Management Plan will assist you in achieving this by documenting all of the event's Health & Safety arrangements and procedures including: build/live event/de-rig arrangements, site rules and emergency procedures / contingency planning.

Risk Assessment

By identifying hazards presented by the activities involved in your production's activities, we will assess the severity of the risk against the likelihood of it taking place and where necessary advise appropriate control measures to significantly reduce that risk or eliminate it completely. 

All risk assessments are tailor-made for each individual production so that they are relevant and specific to your operations.

Construction Phase plans

The completion of a construction phase plan is now compulsory across the live events and entertainment industry for any project that has any element of construction under the CDM Regulations of 2015. 

We shall assist you in fulfilling your legal obligation by developing a construction phase plan that is proportionate to the scale, complexity and risks involved in completing all construction elements.

Contingency planning & Emergency Procedures

Crowd Management Plan

When organizing an event  you must, as far as is reasonably practicable, ensure the safety of the crowd in attendance.

We will assist you in the delivery of a comprehensive crowd management plan that takes into account all of the hazards presented by the crowd in attendance and, conversely, all the hazards that the venue and the events infrastructure present to the crowd itself.

Licensing Application

Depending on the size or type of event you are holding it may be necessary to apply for and obtain an appropriate license.

Our licensing application service will assist you in applying for the applicable licenses, ensuring that all license objectives have been fulfilled before submission, liaising on your behalf with the local authorities and enforcing bodies.

Contractor review and indemnification

Appointing competent contractors is a crucial part of ensuring a safe environment at any event. Guardians of Safety will assist you in engaging competent contractors by ensuring they provide Health & Safety documentation such as: risk assessments and method statements, relevant certification to complete their activities (such as forklift licenses),and ensuring that they hold the appropriate insurances (such as public liability, professional indemnity and employers liability insurance) where necessary.
